Festival of Trees

We were glad to participate in Reading Education Foundation's (REF) Festival of Trees at Parker this weekend, Dec. 6-7.

We donated and sold cotton candy at REF's Festival of Trees at Parker Middle School December 6 and 7. REF provides educational grants to the Reading Public Schools. REF was started at the Reading Technology Fund, focusing on providing computers and other technology to the Reading Public Schools. Now REF, in addition to providing technology (for example iPads), funds grants of a wide variety to the schools.

REF provided the initial seed funding for the ROBOCKETS, the RMHS Robotics Team.

Reading Rotary is a proud contributor to REF and is happy to have raised for REF over $400 this weekend on the cotton candy alone.
