The Board of Directors voted for a change to our meeting schedule.  To increase member participation and engagement, starting in October we will have four meetings per month.  Members are respectfully asked to make at least one meeting per month to stay up to date with the goings on of the club.  Each meeting will have the same information going out to whoever is present. Of course, you can come to as many meetings per month as you like so you can see more members and reconnect with some whom you haven't seen in a while.

We are looking for a permanent location for lunch, since Bertucci's has abruptly closed.  Our next lunch meeting will be on October 6.  Margaret O'Sullivan has graciously offered to host the meeting at her home.  Please make every effort to attend.  

On November 12, 2025, at Andover Country Club, our District is holding the PDG Bob Wood Heroes Event.  This is an event to honor military veterans and Reading Rotary will honor Past President Phil Stewart.  We will be getting at table.  We encourage you to attend.  It will also feature Reading's own General Jack Hammond of Home Base Foundation and Rep. Seth Moulton along with RI Director Chris Etienne.

 

Since we are getting at table, please contact Tim or Amy if you plan on attending (rather than signing up individually).

The Reading Fall Street Faire 2025 edition was a huge success.  Despite a rainy set up, the skies cleared, mostly, by early afternoon and the turnout was huge.

 

Huge thanks to our generous sponsors, all the vendors who braved the soggy weather, the volunteers, entertainers and faire-goers.

 

We are grateful to all our Rotarians who pitched into make the event wonderful.  This is one of the most popular events in our town, if not the most popular.  It takes a village to make it go.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
